What is causing this intense fearfulness that’s been creeping into so many parts of my life?

Many clients ask: “Can hypnosis help with fear?” Fear is an essential signal that alerts us of potential danger, like being outside during a storm or walking on busy streets. However, when we experience excessive fear, it can be damaging and our life becomes restricted and impaired.

The challenge lies in figuring out what is a realistic fear and what is just a creepy crawly feeling.

Emotional or catastrophic physical experiences can produce the same effect.

As a result of a specific incident, fear slowly spreads to include seemingly unrelated things that paralyze our lives. When we feel vulnerable, threatened, alone, and unable to protect ourselves, we will reject intimacy and involvement in the future.

In the aftermath of an emotional loss, the prospect of intimate relationships can be so physically uncomfortable that one may avoid all future relationships.

Imagine that the subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between real and imagined dangers.  When we can no longer distinguish between intimate associations and our feelings, we retreat within ourselves in order to avoid confusing feelings.

Think of survival as one of the realities of loss.

Obviously, if we are alive and are looking back, we are survivors.  What then has been learned, what now is my purpose, and what value have I become?

Hypnosis is focused on allowing the safe exploration of the subconscious part of the mind, the emotional part.  When we discover the core reason for fears and think differently, we move from being immobilized to becoming active, from feeling vulnerability to empowerment, and from despair to hope and renew.

Change for the better. Let us help you to show how hypnosis can help with fear and get you moving along your way!
